Sock Care
Caring for Your GGripz
GGripz grip socks are built for traction, stability, and performance. A little care goes a long way in keeping them fresh, grippy, and ready for heavy sessions.
1. Wash for Hygiene & Performance
Grip socks work hard under load and during movement, so regular washing is key. Use a mild detergent, set your machine to a gentle cycle, and choose cool water only. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can break down the grip pattern and fibers more quickly.
2. Air Dry — No Heat
High heat can warp or weaken the silicone grips. After washing, gently reshape your GGripz and lay them flat or hang them in a well-ventilated space to air dry. Avoid dryers, heaters, or direct high heat sources.
3. Rotate Pairs to Extend Lifespan
Wearing the same pair every session accelerates wear and compression. Rotating between two or more pairs helps distribute usage and keep each pair feeling and performing better for longer.
4. Monitor Grip Condition
Over time, grip patterns naturally smooth out with heavy use. If you notice less traction, smoother grips, or more slipping during lifts or athletic movements, it’s a sign that it may be time to replace that pair for maximum performance.
5. Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Avoid leaving your socks stuffed in a damp gym bag. Store GGripz in a cool, dry environment so the fabric and grips stay fresh and ready for your next session.
