THE LABORS — Drop 01: Our First Drop, and What Each Tee Means
Our first drop. Three shirts. Three myths. One reason we're all here.
Every brand has a starting point. Ours isn't a logo or a slogan — it's the gym floor, at the hour nobody's watching, doing the rep that doesn't feel like it's going anywhere yet.
That's where THE LABORS came from.
We built this drop around three old stories — Sisyphus, Samson, and the sculptor who becomes his own work — because each one describes something that happens in the gym, quietly, over and over, whether or not anyone's there to see it. These aren't just prints. They're the three things we think define what it means to actually be Made in the Gym.
THE BURDEN — Sisyphus
The boulder always rolls back down. He pushes it up anyway.
In Greek myth, Sisyphus was condemned to push a boulder up a hill for eternity, only to watch it roll back down every time. Camus read it as the human condition itself — not punishment, but proof.
That's the gym. Nobody finishes it. There's no final rep that makes the rest of them unnecessary. You push the boulder up today, and tomorrow you're back at the bottom of the hill again. The Burden is for the days you show up anyway — not because you'll finish, but because showing up is the work.
THE TESTAMENT — Samson & the Lion
Bare hands. No hesitation. Some fights don't wait for you to be ready.
Samson's strength wasn't given to him on a stage — it was tested alone, unwitnessed, in a fight nobody saw before anyone knew his name. No crowd. No highlight reel. Just what he did when nobody was watching.
That's most of what happens in this sport. The best sets of your life will probably have zero witnesses. The Testament is proof, not promise — a reminder that what you did in the empty gym is worth more than what you say you'll do next time.
THE MAKING — Self Made Man
Nobody carves the statue for you. You pick up the hammer yourself.
The sculptor doesn't wait for the statue to reveal itself inside the stone — he picks up the hammer and starts hitting it, long before it looks like anything. Every strike before the final form is unglamorous, unseen, and necessary.
Same as every set that doesn't feel like progress yet. You're not finished. You're not supposed to be. The Making is the part of the process everyone skips talking about — the part where you're still becoming.
Why "Drop 01"
This is the first thing we've put our name on as a brand, and we wanted it to say something before it said anything else. Three shirts, three labors, one idea underneath all of them: the work that counts is usually the work nobody claps for.
